formaggia gelato /cheese ice cream cake...

cheese ice cream??this might sounds strange.. but, as requested from someone who is a truly cheese lover.. i made this just for her..

she made it clear that she doesn't want just a simple  usual vanilla ice cream with cheddar cheese chunks on it .. and she wants cheese flavoured ice cream !

so, i managed to use creme fraiche and cream cheese as the main ingredients that resembles cheesecake but in a frozen form..

i made 2 batch ..the small one on the background is for me...:D

nautical feel

although horizontal stripes makes my bulging arms look bigger, i can't resist the temptation of wearing this nautical theme cardi.. i pair it with black standard cami n pedal pusher..and add a splash of colour as an accent.. avoiding matchy-matchy look.. i wear nude peep toe shoes..instead of black/red shuz i usually would wear..

avocado bavarois creme

yippieee.. i've seen so many ripe avocados in supermarket recently.. and i can't wait to try this new recipe i found, called bavarian creme.. but, i modify it and using avocado puree instead of strawberry puree..

the reason why i've been wanting for so long to make this avocado cake is that my dad loves avocado cake from a cafe called tator..but sadly they aren't serving it anymore..

this cake is so smooth and custardy that melts in your mouth instantly..

on top i sprinkled with chocolate chip and garnish it with whipped cream and fresh strawberry... i'm planning to bring these to my dad's house tomorrow.. hope he likes it..:D

(ku de ta wannabe- minus the picturesque view of the sea and the waves. and borderless stretch of white sands.) yeah.. we can see the sea, but too bad  there's still too many garbage surrounding.. and the white sands are only put within the perimeter of the property... plus.. they have to provide every customer with anti repellent lotion to prevent musquito's bites..( pink lil bottle at pic 1)

i love sacher torte ! and i often make these babies just simply because i love chocolate.. 

this time i make a different version from last time, i tried to use a gorgeous purple swirl pattern chocolate transfer sheet i found in a local baking supply store in my neigbourhood an mould it into chocolate piece around the cake and topped it with fresh strawberries..

Actually, i made these cakes a year ago for my mom's bday.. but i haven't got the time to put it on my blog.. so,here it is..

Apfelstrudel (vienesse apple pie)

my first encounter with this delicacies was when i went to schonbrunn vienna few years ago with all the family.. it was served on Sacher Hotel Cafe in the corner of stephanplatz (the main shopping district )

and it took me few years later to finally recreate it..

it was last night when i realized i still had the 2 left over apples (granny smith & red washington apple) in my fridge..

so,i decided to make this dessert to satisfy my sweet tooth.. and it was a big success..! at least for me who is a real cinnammon-sucker..:P

anyone who want a piece of these.. just call me and i'll make it for u..:D
